We need to add a couple of backs with or without Reggie. I kept reading that NO was high on Gerhart who appears to be a slightly bigger Lynel Hamilton, whom I like. So maybe he can Hamilton can add 5 - 10 lbs, a healthy Pierre and pick up back known for durability and we can get by with out him. I think bigger needs are a deep threat with hands, and a stable of Linebackers.
Agreed on the RB part. Whenever I'm on the Saints board it amazes me that, if we lose Bush and/or PT, how many people feel comfortable with Hamilton(untested & coming off season ending injury), Hill(see Hamilton), JJ(fumble machine & average back), and Ivory(machine when he's on but he gets injured pretty much every game). IMO the Saints answer at RB is not on the roster right now. Priority should definitely be on upgrading the front 7 on D, but if an elite back for some reason slips to us in the 1st round, I may take it if I'm Payton/Loomis. At the very least you need to add an established vet in FA. In hindsight, LT would've looked very nice in a Saints jersey last year.

Over-all though, the draft needs to focus on the front 7. We need to get more pressure on the QB without having to send the house at him every play. The only offensive positions they should spend any time on besides RB is OT. Our interior line is so strong but IMO both tackles need to go, I'm sick of having to use extra blockers because Bushrod/Stinch can't do it alone. Hopefully Charles Brown is ready to start next season.
