Leafs win a close one.

The Leafs beat the favored Blue Jackets on Tuesday night, 5-4. The Jackets scored first but Brent Johnson couldn't hold a 4-3 lead entering the 3rd period. An unassisted goal by Marc Savard was the winner. The Jackets did outshoot the Leafs, but neither team was great. Henrik Lundqvist was good enough to end the Leafs 2 game losing streak.

The positives: Goals from 3 different lines. The Leafs offense hasn't been great this year, but at least they can throw a balanced attack at the opponent. Henrik Lundqvist rebounds from a bad game, making 31 saves and getting the win.

The negatives: The Leafs continue to allow a lot of shots and a lot of goals. This is probably due to the injuries on the blueline. Jackman, Rivet and Souray are playing big minutes and seem to be wearing down. The team needs Wade Redden back fast.
