It seems more like you went into it with preconceived notions of how horrible it was going to be and as is the case with a self-fulfilling prophecy you weren't disappointed.

I think I mentioned I'd never heard of Metric before, so no I had no preconceived notions. I'm not ragging on them at all, just didn't like their style, and thought the lead singer's actual performance was terrible, whether understandably due to weather or not. Considering you don't need finger dexterity to sing or hit a tambourine.....I'm not too sympathetic.
Then again I'm probably the only CPer that likes Nickelback....so to each their own.
