I think Metric sucked, but I still give props to the Flames & the NHL for bringing in some fresh faces. Too often events like these are the domain of washed up "classic" rock acts that haven't had a hit since 1978, and it's nice to see the organizers at least trying to stay current. 5 for Fighting in the pre-game was the musical highlight for me, but my wife actually made me change the channel after we suffered through that first Metric song.
