I saw Metric live 10 years ago before they were even popular and they were playing at holes in the wall. They were okay then. It's generic hipsterish pop/rock that I hold in the same range as Arcade Fire, Stars, etc. Not a big fan of that kind of music.

They're Canadian so I don't mind them playing the Heritage Classic.

At least they are going for a modern group. I mean...it's this or Loverboy (formed in Calgary!) and Honeymoon Suite and Glass Tiger and Platinum Blonde with a cameo by Bryan Adams.
