Depending on what kind of music you prefer, you could swap Metric and Bieber in your sentences and make the same argument.
At the end of the day, it's a band playing music for about 5 minutes in between periods of a hockey. Nothing to get too upset about, regardless if you like the selection or not.
I personally like the selections because they've gone in a different direction than what I was anticipating. Nothing wrong with some interesting Canadian content.
Not sure Bieber would have gone over too well with the crowd there today. He's not exactly geared towards a hockey crowd.
