I don't live in Canada anymore but I definately hit the thrift stores once in awhile for clothes, various household items, etc. Figure if you can get something perfectly useable for much less, why not. Some probably take it to the extreme, and for others its the most realistic or suitable option. On a similar tangent, we're most of here I would guess spoilt for choice as it is..to the extent that it borders on criminal. 20 brands of peanut butter staring at me? Insanity.
