You guys these deals are just marketing. Companies pay Dealfind, Groupon, Calgary Herald (print ads), QR77 (radio ads), CTV (television ads), Google (Internet ads), etc. to market their products to you. If you have a problem, go to the company that provided you with the product or service, not to the company through which they advertised.

Sorry, but it's not just advertising. Dealfind took Rudd's money, and sold him a promise that he was going to get an oil change and detailing. He got a terrible oil change and no detailing. Therefore, his money should be refunded.
The difference between this and a print ad is you as the customer never gave the Herald any $$. I actually think this might be a situation that calls for a credit card chargeback, since dealfind is clearly not living up to its customer service policy.
