On a box on their homepage, it says the following, under the heading "Dealfind Promise"

It sounds to me like he's (reasonably) unhappy with his purchase. From the way that's worded it seems to me like he should have a case. I'm definitely starting to change my purchasing strategy on these deals to mostly buy from places I already go to.

There's a lot of nice stuff about honesty, and transparency, and how they NEED to hear from you if something isn't right. The only two stipulations are they can't refund expired coupons or stuff that's "suspicious." This doesn't sound like either. He bought something from them, and the vendor did a crappy job on part of it, and didn't do the rest of the job (detailing).
