Just wanted to give a shout out to everyone here who's trying to quit smoking! I work with many people who have recently quit and are making huge progress every morning. One healthy step leads to another.
My mother had four sisters in Chatham, Ontario, all of whom were smokers (including her) The oldest died of lung cancer. The second has had lung cancer and her husband died of colon cancer. The middle daughter has skin cancer. The second youngest has had lung cancer and breast cancer and my mother is a breast cancer survivor (mastectomy). My aunt, on her deathbed said to me 'If you know anyone who smokes, please ask them to stop' so I try to encourage smokers to quit- because cancer sucks and people deserve to be healthy and to live without it.
Not trying to sound condescending or patronizing, but really proud of you guys!
