You can ask for a reduction, and depending on how the prosecutor/judge is feeling, be granted a slight reduction. You would have to present circumstances of your financial condition that compels the court to show some mercy - but this is unlikely. You will likely only be granted payment "options". These include "volunteer" work, a payment schedule (i.e.: $15/month for 10 months), or be granted extra time to pay the ticket.
Unfortunately for you, our justice system will not be sympathetic to your defence. Just be more aware of where you park in the future and move on.
