I'm coming up to a year without a cigarette. I used Champix. I was a little leery because there were mind issues with a coworker and stomach issues with my sister-in-law. My sister-in-law stopped taking it because she just barfed it up, but my co-worker talked to her pharmacist and they just cut the pills in half. Still worked fine and the creepy dreams stopped. I had neither issue, but my kids said I was a little owly for a while - nothing serious. I don't have any cravings now. And it doesn't bother me to be around my husband when he lights up...well except that he's often stinky now.

I'm so happy I quit. It's like a huge weight is lifted off your shoulders. I can walk up and down all the stairs at the 'dome without wheezing! I can sit through an entire movie without fidgeting. I can relax and enjoy coffee and conversation after a nice meal in a restaurant without jumping up and heading outside. I never freeze my ass off outside the local arena. I'm not ashamed to have company in my vehicle or in my home because they smell. I can kiss my Grandma on the cheek without making her nose curl.

I knew I was done the moment I figured all this out. When this feeling of freedom was something I wouldn't trade for anything.
