There lots of couples and mixed groups hanging out, and everything was normal during the girls acts...but as soon as the guys went onstage *BAM* almost every guy (myself included), had a reason to go do something anything else (get a beer, goto the can, tie your shoe, clean gum off the bottom of the table).
That's because women can look at other women because they're typically looking for things to criticize. A guy can't get away with that.

Here's a hypothetical conversation between two girls in your strip club scenario.

girl1: "That blond stripper is gross! Her boobs are WAY too fake looking and I can see her roots."

girl2: "I know! And she's got cellulite on her butt also!"

While here's what it would be like for 2 guys with a naked guy on stage.

guy1: "That guy's got a small crank and a hairy butt"

guy2: "What are you lookin' at that guy's crank and butt for? Hey guy3! Getta load of guy1! He's checkin' out the dude's crank! Hey guy1, are you dissappointed that he's got a small crank?"

Girls will bond through catiness in that situation while guys are looking to bust each other's chops in that situation.
