Hi everyone, my HP laptop froze while it was shutting down and updating so I took out the battery. When I turned it back on, the sleep function was disabled, so I can't select it since the menu is dimmed out. Does anyone have any ideas on what happened?

Not only that, but the screen became zoomed in and sort of blurry. I checked the resolution but it doesn't seem like that is the problem.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

I can't understand technology to save my life, so forgive me if these questions sound unintelligent.
