America meddling in Iran? Google Operation Ajax. The Americans have had interest in Iran (and their oil) for a long time. I wouldn't doubt they played a similar role with Iran's 2009 revolution, much like they are conducting things behind the scenes in Egypt currently.
As for 9/11, I believe the Bush Admin. had inside foreknowledge of the attacks and that they were mostly carried out by American/Israeli intelligence services, with useful idiots playing the role of hijacker. 9/11 has and will affect all North Americans with all the new police state/security measures being put into place, so I wouldn't say it doesn't affect me.
