Aww shucks all this talking about Anfield. Totally hear ya Locke. That's why I HAD to go last year (and we had 19 ticket requests for 9 tickets, so I had a bit of luck on my side to win that draw). I knew I had to see at least one match there (and it ended up being 2)

I can not imagine what the kop was like before the seats were put in. Having been to Anfield in its current state, I can say I have never experienced anything like that. I've been to some Flames playoff games, and it doesn't even begin. People talk to me about college football in the USA, but I doubt it even comes close to touching it. 40 000+ fans singing "#$%* off Chelsea FC" every time the away fans finished their stupid carefree song (that they sing WAY too fast BTW), the whole stadium responded. And You'll Never Walk Alone vs. Chelsea was the best stadium experience ever.

Anyways, I hope that NESV does the right thing. Especially with the UEFA rules coming in, yearly revenue is going to be important to maintaining a competitive club. We're competing with big clubs, and many of those big clubs have very big stadiums. If a redevelopment is enough to keep us there, then I'm 100% for keeping Anfield. Either way, if they decide to go with a new venue, I would have to visit at least once more. It is more than you can prepare for. I was speechless the second I walked in there.

EDIT - Jagger, you have no idea how much I wish I got to even sit in the kop. If I could go back in time, the kop would be my first destination.
