But, like I said earlier, if that fat prick does pocket the money then hopefully it moves him closer to GTFO.

I just dont know what he wants. I mean, a return on investment is to be expected unless hes just like Hicks and Gillette who couldnt for the life of them comprehend why they couldnt get a premium price for an asset that they drove into the ground.
It seems like his entire business plan is to keep Newcastle up as long as possible and just rape the club for whatever he can get out of it for as long as he can. But then what? Whatever you've taken out of the club you're not going to get back in a sale price. You cant do that, you cant have it both ways but thats what they seemingly want.
The N'Zogbia stunt reminded me of the Keane fiasco where Liverpool sold him back to Tottenham for like half what they initially paid for him. Good bit of business that.
Like I said, as a Liverpool fan who just endured the tyrannical reign of Hicks and Gillette I can empathise about the trials and tribulations of having a crap owner.
The EPL should really look at methods to limit ownership's access to transfer funds. I know that doesnt make any sense from a business perspective as they're the owners and its their money and they should be able to do what they want with it, but for some clubs its becoming ridiculous.
Watch what happens this summer, should we have a standing over/under or odds that whatever moves Newcastle make their net spend is going to be way, way under that £35M?
