Its unbelievable, its like Ashley honestly enjoyes just screwing with the fans. Right now I think the temperature of the fans is honest hostility, but if he keeps this up, or, even worse, should Newcastle get relegated (I dont think they will, but it could happen) that temperature is going to change to somewhere close to open revolt sooner rather than later.
I just dont get what he thinks hes doing. Pocketing the £35M from the Carroll sale is just going to enrage the fans and become a huge detriment to the team.
Not to mention the poor results because now they've got no one to put the ball in the net. Further, guys like Barton and Nolan are going to start looking to ply their trad elsewhere.
AND! AND! That whole rigmarole with the transfer request, what in the blue hell did he think he was doing there? I know they're Geordies, but they're not stone cold ######ed.
