Ok, I need some info on HDTV. I tried Google and Wikipedia with no luck.

How much does a decent HD capable tv cost? I want something in the 27"-32" range.

Ok, so I buy the tv. Now what? Do I need some special reciever or something? Any extra equipment? Any added costs? Subscription of some sort?

Is this worth the trouble? I have $500 in Future Shop gift cards so whatever I buy I'll be buying it from there. I'm willing to spend that $500 plus maybe $500 more at the most. So ~$1000 or less (preferably less) is what I'm working with.

Thanks for any help. I suck at all this new fangled technology.
