I still think I'm going to buy those tickets but the ticket business is getting outrageously stupid.

I know the Flames are hot right now but if this event is anything like the GC 2 years ago you will easily find tickets for FV or less on game day.
There are literally hundreds of tickets listed online. Eventually all those people who want $350/ticket for tickets valued at $170 will realize they have to lower the price or attend. And since many of them are greedy aholes who only optioned their tix to make $$ they will have no interest in going to the game and will want to get rid of their tickets last minute.
You're probably looking for a pair but you could easily get a single for less than FV on gameday in a prime location.
With so many tickets listed for so much money eventually the market for tickets is going to die. At least I think it will.
Maybe if the Flames stay red-hot and move into a playoff position and this city gets Flames fever again the market will stay hot but I really don't think so. The GC in 2008 was the hottest ticket in town but everyone wanted to get max return for their tickets and it rarely happens that way.
