We're talking about different things then. Do they have a business process in place to make the distinction? No, and I'll agree with you. Do they have systems to do it? For sure. All the network gear between you and Telus has the instrumentation facilities required, and the big pile of servers that delivers Optik content is certainly capable of logging when those connections begin and end.
