The more I think about it the more I like the thought of the pending partnership of Carrol and Suarez.

Kenny has gone with the tried and trusted Liverpool striking duo which is simply awesome. This duo reminds me quite a bit of a mix of Toshack/Keegan and Rush/Dalglish, or Aldridge/Beardsley. Toshack was fantastic in the air and was a bull of a man. Carroll has similar traits but has more ground skill than the big man like an Ian Rush/John Aldridge. Suarez is potentially a mix of Keegan, Dalglish, and Beardsley.

The potential that these two have is massive. They could very well be the best striking partnership since those Liverpool glory days.

I'm excited to see how it all shapes up.
