I think the thing that stuns me isnt even the cruelty, I can deal with that more or less, its the complete and utter disregard to any measure of decency or value of life.

I mean, they brought these dogs in, made cash hand over fist using them, these dogs helped entertain thousands of people and as soon as it was all over were casually and cruelly discarded.

And the thing is, its not like they didnt know an impending 'downturn' in the tourism industry was coming. Olympics come with handy 'end' dates, everyone knows when they finish. When they're over, the tourism boom that came with them ends too. No plans or contingencies or anything were made.

The dogs became inconvenient and so were disposed of with no concern or care as to how. Its all really inhuman.
