It's like camping in the rain, sure I got the gear, and a full slicker if need be, but it's just not as fun.
Skiing is expensive, save your money for the nice days.
The only time I got talked into going to Fortress, it was cold and a gale force wind, literally the wind knocked us over on that front ridge, snow blasted the frickin skin off our faces. Not fun.
I was skiing Sunshine before they had a gondola, taking the buses up was a wild ride, once our bus hit another in a switchback
