If you want good Canadian wines in the $20-25 range, I strongly second the Quail's Gate suggestion, and I would also highly recommend Summerhill (the one with the pyramid on the label, and there is a pyramid at the winery)...
Please ignore tyler's suggestion of Casillero el Diablo - that swill still gives me nightmares. When I worked in Moscow in 95-96, that was pretty much the only foreign wine in stores, and if I never have another drop of it... I'll be a happy man.
