Would people be interested in a slightly different Survivor Pool? Even if you are in the current pool you can participate as I have a different format I want to try. This format does not limit the number of people who want to play, actually the more people the better.

You rank the 18 castaways from 1 to 18 - 1st place (the Winner) to 18th place (first to get the boot).

Once ranked you would receive points in the following manner:
Every week that your top ranked player stays in the game you receive 18 points, 17 pts for your #2, 16 for #3, 15 for #4, etc. down to 1 point for #18.

So if in week 1 your top player was voted out you would lose their 18 points from your weekly total. On the other hand if you were correct in picking the 1st person booted you would only lose their 1 point from your weekly total.

Here is an example of how it would work:

Cheese would get 14 points (5 for Miikka, 4 for Alex, 3 for Jarome, 2 for Olli)

Standings would be:
Cheese 14
HD 12

In week 2 Ollie gets voted off
HD would get 11 points (5 for Jarome, 4 for Miikka, 2 for Alex)
Cheese would get 12 points (5 for Miikka, 4 for Alex, 3 for Jarome)

Standings would now be:

In week 3 Alex gets voted off
HD would get 9 points (5 for Jarome, 4 for Miikka)
Cheese would get 8 points (5 for Miikka, 3 for Jarome)

Standings would now be:

HD would get 5 points (5 for Jarome
Cheese would get 3 points (3 for Jarome)
