The rest of the season is only going to get tougher and rondo is not known for his scoring ability hes passer and if the bench has to step in to give the veteran players rest, i can see boston falling a couple spots in the standings.
Rondo is not known for his scoring ability, but he's known for being one of the best point guards in this league now. Jermaine O'Neal is not a huge loss at all and none was expected of him as well. You still have Glen Davis and Nate Robinson coming off the bench, so this is not a team that is just 5 man deep.

They still play the best team defense in the league, have already overcome injuries almost all season and managed to be one of the and beat the best teams in the league.

Shaq was never expected to stay healthy the full season but he's done a good job so far and will now have a lightened work load with the return of Perkins. This is a Boston team that is 1st in the East and has been without their starting center who does a whole lot for this team on both sides of the court.
