Cutler is the QB and should be the leader, sitting around pouting just looks plain bad. It's his right and maybe teammates say they don't care but the fact remains when it comes to crunch time, you have to wonder whether guys are going to look to him to carry the team.

One thing Dilfer said on Simmons' podcast about Rodgers is that at the end of the (philly?) game when they needed a score, Rodgers got in the huddle and said "don't worry, I've got this" or something to that effect and just calmed everyone down.

I've never played high level football (I know you played college, presumably at Mich.State) but it seems to me that you need your QB to be the alpha male, and to have a swagger (as dilfer put it) and cutler just doesn't seem to have it. This just further evidences that.

Also, it doesn't help that he's known to be a bit of a dbag, people aren't going to give him the benefit of the doubt here.
I just don't see how any of the stuff shown on Sunday was Cutler sitting around pouting though, I mean Hanie has come out and said that Cutler was a big help to him. Like I said before, you can make anyone look disinterested if you're only using a few seconds of clips here and there. I don't know that Cutler has the personality or whatever it is that makes a great QB, but I do know that deciding that he doesn't based off of what you see on TV is pretty ridiculous. I guess I'm just really sick of all the arm-chair QBing that goes on nowadays, it's gotten to the point where every little action is analyzed to death, and typically by people who either don't know what they're talking about or who are only interested in drawing attention to themselves.

BTW, I didn't play at MSU. I was too slow, fat, weak and all around not good enough for that. I played CJFL and breifly in the CIS.
