Optics based on seconds worth of video is 100% useless. 100%.
For people to say 'oh he should have done something to help the backup and it sure didn't look like he did in the 11 seconds of video I saw so the conclusion is he didn't' is about as stupid as it gets. The questioning the degree of his injury falls pretty damned close to as stupid when it's based off of those same brief glimpses. The fact that he was standing means nothing, the fact that he was walking means nothing, and the fact (if true) that he walked up some stairs means nothing. As has been pointed out by a couple people in this thread, you can very easily do pretty serious damage to a knee and do all of those things. Bottomline, if you base your conclusions on little glimpses of a guy on the sidelines you're an idiot.
