I'm not sure a post like this belongs in your favourite all time tv series, but I did watch it this year. Wahlberg has a credit now with a lot of HBO shows, not sure how much of the show he's actually involved in.
The show did interest me in the way it seemed like the New York culture and lifestyle felt authentic, compared to many LA written shows that don't even come close.
A few episodes pulled me in and had a good vibe to them, but others were just god freaking awful and had it not been for the success, of entourage on HBO by the same people who are doing this show, there's no way this would've got re-newed. It was painful to watch sometimes, hopefully they can produce a stronger second season.
