I would agree fully, that the Nats have tied themselves to a guy with a contract that will become a burden as he ages, especially since he won't be able to DH in the NL.
I still can't believe that the Angels took on that contract (Wells)...I would love to have been a fly on the wall in the boardroom, or listening in on the phonecalls between Angels management while they discussed this one.
