The truth is both pharmaceutical and homeopathic types of medicine have their flaws, but both these industries are motivated by one thing. Profit.

I don't use homeopathic medicine aside from a few supplements (if that counts), but at the same time I do not support shutting the alternate medicine industry down because that would limit peoples freedom of choice.
I don't support shutting down alternative medicine operations but I want them to go through the same hoops that pharmaceuticals do. I want them to prove that their medicines do what they claim. I want them to prove that they aren't harmful in the short or long term. I want them to be subject to the same backlash that pharma is if a therapy goes sour.

Diluting an "active ingredient" below the detection level of our modern instruments is ridiculous. One of the first things you learn in pharmacology is that concentration is key and these mega dilutions are nonsensical.
