And I don't need astronomy lessons pal. Betelgeuse is actually ~150,000 times brighter than the sun.

Let's talk about brightness. How many times brighter do you think the sun is compared to the moon (as they appear to us in the sky)? Make the same comparison with Venus and the moon. Try to guess without looking it up.
