GB's offence is much better, but to say their defence is better is ballsy, as they are very close and I would still say that the Bears' is better all around. Their LB core is just not close talent wise and their secondary and dline are very compareable.

Based on what?
GB gave up fewer yards, fewer points, had way more sacks, more INT's, and played a much tougher schedule. All this with 4LB's, 3 Safeties, 2 DE's and a CB on IR. In their last 6 games they have given up 91 points, or 15 points per game. 4 of those games against playoff teams.
The defense is what carried the Packers this year and is something most of the media simply doesn't grasp. No question Rodgers and company have started to really roll on the other side of the ball and that's what they all concentrate on, but that Packer D is a beast of late as well....and has been most of the year. Dom Capers has them firing on all cylinders...the man is a genius.
If this game was back in Lambeau I have no doubt the Packers would win going away. But because its in Chicago and it being a division rival, it will be agonizingly close. Probably a FG either way and the early line is the Packers -3. GB should have won the game in Soldier Field back in September but self-destructed and were flagged for
18 penalties. It was absurd.
