On MD players, those things are built so well... mine had a nice magnesium-aluminum case that was pretty much indestructible. It still works fricking 10 years later and I doubt any of my current electronics will last near that long. Fricking companies cut so many corners nowadays.
Too many cases of companies using consumers as BETA testers.
