No the police said they are now lead to believe he was on the golf course shooting blanks to scare geese. Yes that is his job, however he currently is on disability leave.
No different from me being a fry cooker at McDonald's, if I'm on leave and show up at work, hop over the counter and throw down a batch of fries.
That said, I doubt there'd be any charges of trespassing or misfiring a firearm

I would think his partners would ensure he doesn't continue to go overboard, would you reasonably think that with a complying suspect your partner would walk up and kick him in the face? No. It appears it was just on the one kick, and his partners would have to file their reports in line with the video that was recorded.

Common sense would lead police to believe there is a shotgun in the truck. Just because you have a shotgun doesn't mean you have a handgun.
Even if he did have a handgun on him, the kick was unacceptable. He was on both knees with both hands on the pavement, *if* he had a handgun he was no threat.
