This band called Green Day was pretty big too. I am not a huge fan, but I would put a lot of their stuff in with the punk genre. Bad Religion, Alkaline Trio, Rise Against, Against Me, all are bands that have recently seen some success. Are these bands going to be Arena rock bands? Doubtful (aside from Green Day), but they can get some major radioplay and sell out larger clubs.
