Good half. Offensive play calling has been very good, the best variety maybe in the past few years. It still all begins and ends with Hasslebeck...he's stuck with the program so far, throwing the ball away properly (although he's lucky another one didn't get picked), and has to stay with that plan.
Too often he goes "cowboy" and thinks he knows more then the coaches, and plays end in INT's. That said, he's got the lead and he's come from behind by sticking with the plan. NO will make some adjustments, SEA will have to match, and Hasslebeck just has to trust the playcalling and use his arm to execute rather than think too much.
SEA defense is playing as usual, although they are getting more pressure on Brees, so that's helped. Far too soft 8-14 yards down the field.
But in the end, its all there for the team with a half to go and its up to Hasslebeck to finish it off...or else.
