I was pulled over last year in the middle of February. The cop didn't get out of the Van, just rolled down his window and asked if I knew that I could be given a $60(?) ticket for failure to clean off the snow on my bumper. I was surprised and told him I'd clear it right away, he thanked me, and drove away. When I was clearing it off, I realized that my registration had been expired since Dec 31!. I went straight to the registry and was fine. Moral: It can go both ways.
As for Mr Mikey, I will bet money that he is a Pothead, and hates the fact that he is considered a criminal, although he's otherwise a law-abiding citizen. He is a contradiction though, as most far right-of-centre people believe in Law and Order. Did he vote for Harper's Conservatives? Does he know Harper is pushing Marijuana further in to illegal territory?
As for thinking he could "defend his land" LOL. The Freemen from Montana would immediately be all up in Lethbridge's grill with the best military technology Uncle Sam had to offer at the time. How's a hunting rifle going to defend against a Tank or rocket launcher?
