I must be moody.

It's funny how one's musical tastes change over time. For me, this list represents much more of a "buying phase" history than a current preference ranking.

As reliable as our old standbys are (and we all have 'em), there's always something else out there to discover. For example, I only just discovered the greatness that is Béla Fleck last month. I bought his Christmas album on a whim based on positive Amazon.com reviews - it's really good - and have continued to dig into his remarkably diverse discography since). I learned that he's been making music since the 70's. Who'd've thought?

It also appears as though I'm way overdue for a Tom Waits / Neil Young / Radiohead marathon... can't say I know (m)any of their tunes off the top of my head, but CP knows best! ....... right? ..... ..... ..... guys???............
