I'd take the non moving violation any day of the week, over a cheaper now, but more expensive in the long run speeding ticket. Most insurance companies give you 1 freebie, then you get surcharges on the second. I'll keep my wiggle room for the extra $100, thanks.
I really hope one day, a police officer tries to do something to really help you or a family member out, or save you from a dangerous situation. Then you can proceed to rant at him at what a corrupt slimebag he is. Unfortunately, he'd still help you, but he should just strand you, and let you fend for yourself.

Well he said this was the first time his wife would have gotten demerits. Considering the driving record, I think the risk is worth it in her case, seeing as how she rarely (if ever) gets a ticket.
You let your insurance company screw you around like that? I have a pretty good relationship with my insurance people and can usually haggle the price down every now and then.
Btw save your lecture on cops. I have never needed a cops help, I would prefer to be self-sufficient and avoid them, not that I am hostile when I come across an officer anyways. I just don't care for them, get over it.
