It has probably been mentioned (haven't read the whole debate), but ethylmercury, used in some vaccines, has shown to not bioaccumulate. This is in direct contrast with methylmercury, which does bioaccumulate, and is often consumed by humans if their diets consist of large fish (ie: tuna).

If we're so concerned about mercury, I think we've got some bigger fish to fry.
