It's actually amazing how infrequently managers seem to be willing to tell employees how they're doing. Especially in my working career, I've maybe had like 2 performance reviews in 15 years.

I bet that if you called them into your office, and asked them about it, they might start showing up 10 minutes early. It's hard to correct a problem, if the other people aren't aware that it is a problem.
