There's spots (the plural is allegedly) where there are legal U-turns in Calgary. The only one I've ever seen is just west of the on-ramp from 10 Ave/Bow Tr (west) to Crowchild (north).

Granted, I haven't looked that closely.

This was the first place I've been where U-turns are illegal unless marked. Now I pay way more attention when I'm travelling somewhere.

Same as rights on red - used to be illegal all over Quebec but now only in Montreal.
