i've been wanting to see a gritty alien invasion war since i was a kid. i don't want some invulnerable force field around the aliens that requires some special hacking, or them dying because of some bacteria. i just want a good ol' fashioned slugfest where our bullets actually have some effect. i want to see some results of humans killing each other for thousands of years, if there's one thing we're good at it's war
hopefully this movie can pull it off
