Have you been there? I really had no intention of changing your mind, but the UAE is an amazing country to visit and it's a shame that people wouldn't go because of the half-truths and non-factors you cite.

My dad has been there and my co-worker worked there and Dubai is a terrible place.
Their government is corrupt and one of the Prince's is in jail for torturing someone, I saw the video. The Prince put sand in the guys mouth and then ran him over 9 times with a Range Rover because the guy "stole some rice" which was a misunderstanding.
