They are lucky that other bottom feeders are winning as well but if the Lions miss out on Peterson or Amukamara because of these meaningless wins it will be another stupid move in a long line of stupid moves by this franchise.
Can't believe that after all those years of losing these guys decide now they will attempt to win.

Sorry for bringing up a 2-page old quote, but are you f'in serious moon????
Why on earth do you even cheer for a team if you wish them to lose?
The Lions are finally showing signs of life and you're disappointed? They are learning how to win and you're criticizing them for it?
For a franchise to turn the corner and become a winner they usually start by finishing out a losing season strongly. I'm hoping and praying that's what we're seeing here. The Lions have plenty of talent at most positions.. now it's a matter of putting it all together and frankly, I'm thrilled with what Shwartz has done wtih them so far.
You can still get a really good player in the middle of the draft. You can always draft another Roy Williams, Mike Williams, Charles Rogers, Joey Harrington, etc... with a top-5 pick.
Let them learn how to win and build some groundwork for next year. For once I'm actually excited about the Lions' future.
Of course that win might have been just as much about Chad Henne sucking as it was about the Lions' coming of age.
