Win and in for Seattle.
Thanks to St. L, or maybe more to Singletary for messing up the 49'ers from Week 1 of the season.
Hasslebeck is hurt, already been announced that he won't practice all week, and Whitehurst looked like garbage today. But still comes down to one game. For a rebuilding Seattle team, that still has glaring holes, this would be a big boost going into next year. A loss, at home, would really hurt, given on how close they are.
No apologies here for the record, or the division...heard a stat that 3 times in 30 years since this playoff format was introduced, has a team won the division with .500 or worse.
Regardless, I think the Hasslebeck era will be over in Seattle after this year; its the only position Carroll didn't tinker with, but I think he will next year after all that's gone on this year, and how really key it is in the league to have the QB of the team be the leader that can rally the troops.
Anyways, its all there for them, to make it a great unexpected season, or a disappointing season.
