So long as the creature was born for an expressed purpose, then everything is okay. You don't have to consider their well being.

Are you eating this puppy after you have beaten it? Or are you just having a puppy so you can beat it to death?
Again this is not the same situation these people are harvesting animals. Are you going to complain that farmers should all grow expensive organic crops and cut them by hand raising the price of all goods and services making even less people able to afford to eat the food. Do you think corn likes to be run over by a tractor? I know I wouldn't. What you are all forgetting is that these are animals and not humans! And like I said one day if aliens or the pigs mutate and take over the world and all humans are treated as their food source then so be it we had it coming.
