I saw a big meteor last week, but only the one. The tail on it was about as wide as my finger in the sky, and there were multiple smaller fragments trailing the big one. It was (visually) very low and moved quite quickly across the sky. I initially mistook it for a flare or firework fired in my neighborhood, except that it was larger and faster moving (and nearly horizontally moving, not up and down).
Probably the largest meteor I've ever seen.
